Rajan Sharma

Highlighting his commitment to professional development, in 2005 he gained his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS), part of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Simultaneously he undertook training to provide intravenous sedation, which he now uses regularly for nervous patients, or those requiring complex surgery. Rajan is a Member of The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD)
His surgical flair led him to undertake a year course in 2007 in Dental Implants studying at The Tatum Institute in Birmingham and further courses in the USA and Europe. He has also trained postgraduate dentists in implant dentistry. His gentle nature and extensive experience in oral surgery has proved very successful with his patients and postgraduates.
As part of Castle Hill's commitment to advancing developments in dentistry, Dr Sharma is currently using PRGF (Plasma Rich in Growth Factors), a cutting edge treatment to stimulate and accelerate the processes of tissue healing and regeneration after surgery. His constant thirst for education has led him to provide excellence in dentistry using cutting edge equipment.
In order to compliment his implant and cosmetic dental work, Dr Sharma has trained over the years to provide facial rejuvenation treatments to many of his patients. Dr Sharma's extensive skills and experience in this field have led him to become a clinical instructor for the internationally renowned Dr BK Training Institute for facial aesthetic treatments.
Again as part of the Castle Hill experience, he uses modern equipment to deliver various types of facial treatments with minimum discomfort.
Dr Sharma studied at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida. This has enabled him to undertake more complex cases and provide more comprehensive treatment to his patients. He has continued to develop his skills by attending a number of international symposiums.
By using all of his extensive training that he has gained and with the modern equipment, Dr Sharma always aims to provide high quality dentistry for each patient. His gentle nature means that patients are always treated as individuals. Dr Sharma prides himself in being a very caring and professional dentist who is keen to help his patients achieve their goals.

Shivani Sharma

She is committed to keeping up to date with advances in dentistry and has completed the prestigious Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice. She is also a Certified Invisalign® (Invisible Braces) Practitioner.
Between having children Shivani has proved her determination in providing top class dental treatment, developing her skills in cosmetic dentistry by attending a variety of courses.
Shivani likes to go scuba diving and has trekked through the jungles in Borneo. She has also jumped out of a plane at 10,000 feet!
Nowadays her other passion is to provide oral health education to local schools.

Rangika Weerasuriya

In addition, Rangika is a Dental Foundation Trainer within the Oxford Deanery, a role that combines the development of newly qualified dentists whilst ensuring up-to-date current knowledge and skills being shared with his own patients.
Rangika has particular interest in the fields of Oral Surgery and Restorative dentistry. To further his interest, he has worked in an Oral and Maxillofacial department in a local hospital, continually developing his aptitude and experience in this area of dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Rangika is an enthusiastic sportsman with a keen interest in football, cricket and golf.

Sonayna Gogna

She currently holds a MFDS post graduate qualification and is currently undertaking a diploma in Restorative dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons.
Her compassionate and gentle nature allows her to work comfortably with anxious patients and deliver the best possible care. She feels it is very important that her patients are involved in all aspects of their treatment planning and that they are informed at every stage.
Through attending multiple courses , Sonayna is able to keep up to date with the latest techniques ensuring this is carried through with her patients.
Outside of work, Sonayna enjoys keeping fit with yoga, travelling and trying new foods! One of Sonayna's most memorable experiences is volunteering in Vietnam, carrying out dental treatment on children and she is keen to embark on a similar venture sometime soon!

Georgina Taku

Shortly after qualifying she passed examinations to achieve membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She has also completed courses covering a wide range of topics and is a certified Invisalign provider.
Being an avid traveller, Georgina has attended conferences all over the world from London to Hawaii to keep up to date in the dental field. She enjoys being part of the dental team and is particularly keen on restorative dentistry, endodontics and helping nervous patients to overcome their fears through her kind and gentle approach.
Outside of work Georgina enjoys cooking, Netflix shows, learning Italian and spending time with her partner and toddler who definitely keep her busy!
