bunions
Another name for bunions is 'Hallux Valgus'. This is a condition where the big toe moves towards the other toes and the joint can become swollen and tender. Walking can be affected as a result. Other toes can also become affected and corns can develop. Bunions are caused mostly by a particular walking style and perhaps because they " run in the family", also ill-fitting shoes certainly exacerbate the problem.
